Why Chitrakoot.
Why now.

01
One of India's most underserved districts
Chitrakoot ranks among the lowest in U.P. on education and health indices. Girls face 40%+ dropout rates after Class 5 in tribal blocks.
02
Zero mental health services in rural areas
The nearest psychiatric facility is 80km away. Communities have no access to counselling, crisis support, or mental health education.
03
Part of Bundelkhand Aspirational Region
Chitrakoot falls under NITI Aayog's aspirational district program β€” opening access to government schemes, CSR funding priority, and national grants.
04
Local leadership, deep community trust
Founded and led by people rooted in Chitrakoot β€” not parachuted in. We know the language, the terrain, and the people we serve.
"When a girl in Chitrakoot gets an education, an entire family's future changes."
β€” Manodasha Darshan Foundation, Core Belief
Chitrakoot Dham, Uttar Pradesh, India

Serving the Karwi, Manikpur, Mau, and Ramnagar blocks β€” areas with high tribal population, low literacy, and significant gender disparity.

Led by people rooted here

Founded and driven by individuals from Chitrakoot β€” not outsiders. We know the communities we serve.
